You are at that beautiful bend in life –
That leg of your journey
where the dance of life happens;
You have left behind the boy
that you once were
Not yet there but on your way

As you turn sixteen Adib -hold fast ;
To everything that makes you special
Never lose your charm or your wit
Your compassion or your big heart
Never lose your faith – in your beliefs
Your roots and everything that is good
May you always have enough ; just enough
of all that you need
Enough courage to keep your heart clean and your goals high
Enough innocence to love and get hurt and try it all over again
Enough humor to spread some good cheer around ; and to find the irony in things that don’t go your way
Enough character to know that to lead is to serve ; and to give voice to the voiceless
Enough strength to close the doors that need to be closed
Enough adventures in your path to make your mind strong and body resilient..
Enough discipline to keep on trying when you fail …coz failing is inevitable in life but learning is a choice

Enough stubbornness to stand for your truths and beliefs – but make allowance for others views too Enough grit to not let go of your dreams or the paths that excite you … sometimes success is just around the corner, at the last lap where you almost gave up
Enough focus to see only the blessings and talents you have ; to never even care or worry about what you do not
Enough wisdom to know that into each life a little rain (or a lot) should fall ; that keeping an open mind in the eye of a storm is all that matters
Enough favor and blessings – so that at the end of every day … you get to stand tall; happy, strong and content-
